AIMEN to showcase innovations in composite manufacturing

FLASH-COMP partner AIMEN Technology Centre will be making a big impact at JEC World 2025, the leading international trade fair for composite materials, which takes place from 4th-6th March in Paris, France. Representing both FLASH-COMP and another composite material project CAELESTIS, AIMEN will engage with key industry and research stakeholders to discuss cutting-edge developments in composite manufacturing and Zero Defects Manufacturing (ZDM).

AIMEN will be part of the Spanish Pavilion VI (Hall 5, Stand F135), and will join 10 other leading Spanish organisations, coordinated by AEMAC (Spanish Association of Composite Materials). This collective presence highlights Spain’s commitment to driving innovation in composite materials and manufacturing technologies.

AIMEN will be on hand at the event to present the latest developments from the FLASH-COMP project, which is revolutionising composite manufacturing through AI-driven ZDM strategies. By integrating advanced quality control solutions, FLASH-COMP aims to enhance production efficiency, reduce waste, and support the transition to sustainable manufacturing processes. This event provides a key opportunity for AIMEN to connect with industrial leaders, research partners, and potential adopters of FLASH-COMP’s technology.

In addition to representing FLASH-COMP, AIMEN will also showcase the CAELESTIS project, which focuses on creating a hyperconnected simulation ecosystem to enhance the probabilistic design and predictive manufacturing of next-generation aircraft structures. This initiative aligns with AIMEN’s expertise in advanced materials and digitalized manufacturing, reinforcing their role as a key player in the evolution of aerospace composites.

With more than 1,300 exhibitors and more than 43,200 visitors at JEC World 2024, the 2025 edition promises to be a crucial hub for networking and knowledge exchange in the composites industry. AIMEN invites all attendees to visit Pavilion Spain VI to explore how their research and development efforts in FLASH-COMP and CAELESTIS are shaping the future of composite materials.

  • Stay tuned for updates from JEC 2025 as AIMEN continues to drive forward innovation in high-performance and sustainable composite manufacturing.
FLASH-COMP Physical Test Bed

From validation to demonstration: FLASH-COMP clears the path towards zero defect manufacturing for large-scale composites

Three years after launch, FLASH-COMP has reached a defining moment. The completion and validation of its Physical Test Bed for large composite liquid resin infusion processes confirms pre-industrial integration readiness and opens the door to full industrial demonstration – accelerating the project’s mission to enable the sustainable, zero-defect manufacturing of composite parts.
