We are pleased to announce that the FLASH-COMP project will be appearing in an upcoming edition of Projects Magazine, which will focus on EU efforts to transform European manufacturing industries by improving their efficiency and competitiveness through digitisation and AI and the power of data.
The special publication, published by our partners Insight Media, will showcase leading European projects that are working to tackle this challenge in different ways, but each creating digital technologies that will enable the realisation of futuristic cognitive factories and all now implementing this technology at pilot scale for testing.
This edition of Projects Magazine will provide a platform for the dissemination of research developments by many projects working in similar areas to FLASH-COMP. This will be supported by insight and comment from key players in the sector on how to best achieve a sustainable, profitable and efficient industrial future.
By highlighting technical and technological advances alongside a focus on policy, investment and collaboration, the publication will provide an invaluable insight into where we are now, what we can achieve and, importantly, how we can ensure we are able to deliver on that potential.
Importantly, Projects Magazine provides an effective channel for projects to reach a highly targeted industry audience – the industries and people who will use this technology – to communicate what innovation they are developing and the benefits this will offer.

From validation to demonstration: FLASH-COMP clears the path towards zero defect manufacturing for large-scale composites
Three years after launch, FLASH-COMP has reached a defining moment. The completion and validation of its Physical Test Bed for large composite liquid resin infusion processes confirms pre-industrial integration readiness and opens the door to full industrial demonstration – accelerating the project’s mission to enable the sustainable, zero-defect manufacturing of composite parts.
