Researchers at INEGI have been making excellent progress on aspects of the FLASH-COMP inspection and monitoring solution, developing methods for bubble detection and flow front monitoring during resin infusion that combine easy to access technologies with state-of-the-art AI algorithms.
FLASH-COMP has published a new and robust evaluation framework that sets out the methodologies and tools needed for assessing the readiness levels of companies to adopt ZDM technologies. This is an important first step in ensuring the uptake of these technologies that will unlock the sustainable growth potential for European industry.
The FLASH-COMP data space is up and running, forming the cornerstone of the project’s novel decision support system that will eventually empower operators to manage production quality and make operational decisions that ensure products are manufactured right first time.
